Wood and bamboo flour can be components of wood-plastic composite (WPC) formulations. Milling equipment prepares the feedstock and controls particle size; final composite performance also depends on formulation and downstream processing.
Specify the flour required by the WPC process
Confirm material type, particle-size distribution, moisture, cleanliness and feed consistency with the downstream producer. Different resins, formulations and products may require different wood-flour specifications.
Configure preparation to suit the feed
Select chipping, crushing, drying where necessary, milling, classification and collection according to the actual material. Feedstock that already meets requirements does not need every preparation stage. Confirm the mill model and hourly capacity separately.
Test product performance and cost
Adding wood flour does not automatically improve strength, heat resistance, environmental performance or cost. Evaluate samples, loading level, formulation, processing conditions and finished-product tests, then compare the cost of the complete milling and forming process.
