Combined Wood Chipper & Shredder
The Combined Wood Chipper & Shredder handles suitable wood offcuts, branches, bamboo and straw. Crushing, screening and conveying are configured for material form and target output size.

Product OverviewEquipment application and scope
The Combined Wood Chipper & Shredder is a high-speed wet and dry grinder capable of grinding bamboo shavings and small twigs into fine granular material in a single pass. It can be used to produce raw materials for charcoal, high-density fiberboard, and other products. As a type of high-speed wet/dry grinder, it is designed to grind wood chips, forest residues (such as dead trees, branches, and stumps), crop stalks, rice straw, yard trimmings, wood chips, and other similar materials into powdered particles. The Combined Wood Chipper & Shredder consists of several components, including a feed chute, a grinding chamber, and a conveying system. Inside the grinding chamber is a rotor, which comprises a disc and movable hammer blades. Screens and tooth plates are also key working components of the grinder. During operation, the material to be processed enters the grinding chamber through the feed chute, where it undergoes repeated impact and friction from the high-speed rotating hammer plates, as well as collisions with the tooth plates. This process gradually reduces the material to the desired particle size, allowing it to fall through the screen openings. The screened material is conveyed by a blower and feed pipe to a collection cylinder, where it undergoes further separation; the powder is discharged from the bottom for bagging, while the air is discharged from the top. The scrap material crusher—commonly known as a wood crusher or timber crusher—is suitable for processing dry or wet wood, bamboo, tree roots, twigs, reeds, corn stalks, and other non-fibrous materials. It slices and crushes these materials, processing a variety of materials into chips in a single pass, with the output size adjustable within a certain range. This series of machines features high production efficiency, simple operation, convenient maintenance, and a wide feeding range, making it a versatile piece of equipment.

Working Principle & ComponentsProcess and construction
Different materials can be crushed through the same feed inlet; the side feed inlet is designed for crushing logs, while the front feed inlet is designed for crushing branches.
Different materials, after being fed through various feed systems, are shredded and ground; a blower then conveys the material to a cyclone separator, from which the finished product is discharged.
